“Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” – George Eastman
Dawnlight through curtains. Reflections on a lake. Streetlights on a wet road. The word photography means ‘writing with light’ and that’s what shooting on instant film is all about. You have to work with your camera, your film and the light to tell a story.
For this month’s competition we want photos in which light plays a vital role. It could be strong light that creates vivid contrast. Subtle light that draws attention to a subject. Or something more unexpected: lens flare, or your flash reflecting against a window.
You’re free to enter as many photos as you like. Upload to the Gallery from your mobile using the Impossible Project App, or from your computer. All photos must be shot on Impossible film to be eligible.
The competition closes at 11.59pm (CET) on September 30, 2015. If your photo is judged in the top three you’ll get a voucher worth 50 EUR/USD/GBP to spend in our shop.
